Brain Rules
Brain Rules for Presenters
From: garr, 4 months ago
"One of the best books I have read this year is Brain Rules: 12 Principles for Surviving and Thriving at Work, Home, and School. The applications for presentation are many. This is a book review of sorts, though I do not highlight all aspects of the book. I focus on the three rules that relate most directly, though all the rules have lessons. Just a fantastic book." --GR

Thirst
Here's one of the winners of the recently completed "World's Best Presentation of '08" event on slideshare.com.
The contest was judged by several of the "gurus" in the presentation field: Garr Reynolds, Nancy Duarte and Guy Kawasaki. Also Bert Decker, which is a new name to me.
[Slideshare is a very frustrating site to use. I have not been able to view the shows embedded on the site. I have to download them separately.] Edited 12/29/08: I am finding fewer and fewer issues, which is good news.
Slideshare is sort of You Tube for PowerPoints. Anyone can register and upload their decks. The quality, beyond the contest winners, is not guaranteed!
